WHY HOST A SPANISH STUDENT WITH TOP TALK?
- We have ten years’ experience with our exchange program in northern Virginia.
- We carefully select each and every student and host family.
Alice Jones, McLean native and resident of Spain, will be on hand locally to support families. - Our aim is to provide safe quality immersion programs for Spanish teens and American families.
- Participants will have a waiver, code of conduct, full insurance and an ESTA certificate, necessary for short stays in the US.
Top Talk will conduct a background check on each family.
“Overall, participating in Top Talk’s programs provided me with opportunities that would be hard to find elsewhere. I gained language skills, friendships, travel experiences and cultural appreciation. I strongly recommend Top Talk to anyone interested, and I would be happy to share more about my experiences and answer any question”

PROPOSED TRIP TO SPAIN
JULY 6 – 16
We can provide teens from northern Virginia who are interested in visiting Spain with a vetted host family, known personally to Alice, in which the student can fully immerse themselves in Spanish culture.
Every morning, Monday – Friday, all participants will take part in either sailing lessons at the local yacht club or surfing camp with a local surf school. There will be 5 hours of Spanish lessons as well as three afternoons of sightseeing in Bilbao and our beautiful region of Cantabria.
There will be a chaperone on the return flight with the students, however, we will need a group of 10 for this to be feasible. Price €3.150 (price contingent on an airfare of €1.300).
“Thank you Alice for providing a fantastic cultural exchange for our son this summer. Placing him with such a wonderful family gave him exposure to Spain in a way that tourists don’t experience, and really allowed him to work on his Spanish skills. Looking forward to next year…..”
Kerstin, McLean, Virginia.
